Your data, updates, and feedback

Where everything lives, how the app updates, and how to reach us.

Your recordings are yours

Everything Afinar makes lives on your Mac, in a folder you can open from Settings (⌘,) → Reveal in Finder. There is no Afinar account, no cloud, no upload. Nothing leaves your machine unless you export or share it yourself.

No tracking

Afinar has no analytics and no telemetry. It doesn’t watch what you play, and it doesn’t phone home about you.

Updates

Afinar checks for updates in the background and installs them when you quit, you don’t have to do anything. To check by hand, use Check for Updates… in the app menu.

Feedback

Something broken, or something you wish it did? Help → Send Feedback… opens an email draft with your app and macOS versions filled in, and the app’s log attached when one exists, visible in the draft and removable. Nothing is sent unless you hit Send.
